In my garden, there was a real eyesore. We had taken down a line of overpowering 60 feet high conifers, but had been forced to leave the stumps in situ because disturbing the roots would have meant damaging an underground duct carrying electric cables and a water pipe across the site.

Over time, the stumps re-sprouted as did tough weeds like thistles and elder – leaving a tangled patch of jungle in a sloping area dividing two levels of lawn.

Advantage came up with a plan to conceal the uneven stumps in a raised bed which had the additional benefit of clearly defining the two levels of lawn – making the whole thing look like an intended feature.

Beautifully symmetrical planting to complement the foliage colours of other parts of the garden completed the look.

I would like to highly commend Advantage Pest Control and Garden Services who recently provided us with garden services for my mothers-in-law garden.

Andy and his team has maintained the garden to a very high standard at a reasonable price. And has continued to do so for many years without direction from us. They just know what is best and ensure it is looking good all the time.

We can highly recommend Advantage Pest Control and Garden Services to any of our friends, family or colleagues.

I have a rental house which is on a corner plot which used to have a less than attractive front garden…

The small lawn was often too wet to cut and so tended to get straggly, while a number of manhole/service access points made the whole thing look scruffy and disjointed.

Andy Webster and his team at Advantage had some great ideas to make the area neat, tidy and low-maintenance with a new fence, slate surface and a single, signature flower bed planted with easy to keep plants providing colour and interest all year round.

Altogether, a transformation - thank you!

My firm has used Andy for our office gardening needs for the past two years and we've always been very pleased with the quality of work and service provided.

Recently Andy and his team have started doing gardening work for a number of the partners' gardens. I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic work you've done for us and for going out of your way to provide this service for us. We would unreservedly recommend you.

Scott Harding, Poole Alcock LLP Solicitors

I just want to say a big thank you for all the work you and your colleague Tom have done on our garden. The side garden was badly overgrown when you arrived, as were the hedges and the vegetable patch was all over the place. You did far more in the time you'd allotted, and more than we expected, and we were very pleased with the result.

With Tom now looking after the garden every two weeks, everywhere always looks nice and tidy and I look forward to you undertaking the next part of the garden for us around the greenhouse area.

We have no hesitation in recommending Andy and his team.

Always excellent work and a great help to Bespoke Lettings particularly for any pre or end of tenancy tidy ups and also any repairs/replacements of fences, gates etc… and will always go that extra mile in helping us to provide the service we strive to give to our clients

Penny Bayley, Bespoke Lettings

I would like to highly recommend Advantage Pest Control and Garden Services who continue to provide us with pest prevention as a precautionary measure.

I wish to provide a testimonial to Andy Webster of Advantage Pest Control and Garden Services for their services to Poole Alcock's garden and hanging baskets at the Nantwich office, The Dowery for over the past 12 months. We provide company and employment law to local businesses from this office so the presentation of the office is very important.

The quality of Andy's work has been recognised by the Britain in Bloom competition in which we won a silver award.

I want to thank Andy and his team for their friendly and fabulous approach and would highly recommend him.

As a Business Coach I am always looking for people and businesses to refer especially where the quality of work is going to give the client great satisfaction.

Jane and I are delighted with the quality and appearance of our patio and we were greatly impressed with the ideas you suggested to make the new surface fit in with our garden, it makes it a real pleasure to use the garden.

Thank you so much and thank you for enhancing the appearance and feel of our home.

We will have no hesitation in looking for referrals for you in the future.

At my home, we have a much-loved, elderly pear tree. It is more than 40 feet high and at least 100 years old.

But however much we want to preserve it, we have had to recognise that time – and weather - are taking their toll, and a big split has gradually emerged in the main trunk. This was particularly worrying as the tree is close to our border and next to a road, which meant that if it did come down, it was in danger of blocking the road, or worse, causing damage or injury to a passing car or pedestrian.

The team at Advantage were sensitive, but authoritative: their task was to make the tree safe, but they weren’t going to be more radical than they had to be.

Specialist tree surgeon Jason painstakingly thinned the branches of the tree, lowering the crown and finally the overall height until there was no longer a danger of the tree breaking apart. And although the top of the tree had been removed, he left lower surrounding branches so that as the leaves came out, they camouflaged the missing section and the tree continues to be a pleasure to the eye.

Not only was the job carried out with skill and patience but the same care and attention to detail was applied to the clean-up operation, leaving the garden neat, tidy and debris free.

A great job well done – thank you!
